Berger Knows Machining

Berger's strength lies in producing high-precision, complex metal components with tight tolerances. Using the most innovative machines allows us to meet the needs of our customers.

Turning

We have over 320 CNC Multi spindle machines and over 120 CNC Single spindle machines, delivering small, medium and large volumes.

  • Over 80 Rotary and Linear Transfer machines worldwide
  • 5mm to 65mm from bar stock
  • Up to 115 CNC-axes, from diameters of 5mm to 50 mm from bar stock, and chucking components from 5mm to 100mm.

Milling

Berger excels in CNC milling technology, efficiently producing complex components for the automotive industry and smaller batches for aerospace.

  • We invest in CNC milling innovations and ensure our parts meet industry standards.
  • Precision machining in single clamping maximizes efficiency and ensures quick response with high quality.
  • We are a trusted partner for companies seeking excellence in precision-engineered components.

Grinding

With our sophisticated grinding technology, we give the required finishing touches to surfaces but can also use this technology to achieve very specific dimensions.

  • Highly precise contours on many technical materials can be realised within a very short time
  • Flexible and adaptable: Our CNC grinding machining centres allow us to meet your specifications
  • Grinding types include: Infeed, Thru feed, centerless, double disk, honing, boring and hard turning

Machining Capabilities at Berger

Depending on your needs we design a process that is both efficient and precise.

PECM Machining produces world class results

Precision Electrochemical Machining (PECM) is a manufacturing process that utilizes an electrochemical method to machine materials. The advantages are non-contact, cold machining, no microcracks, absolutely burr-free, and simultaneous multi-part machining is possible. Faster. Flexible. More efficient.

PECM Machining Advantage

PECM can machine a wide range of electrically conductive materials, including metals and alloys that are difficult to machine with conventional methods, such as nitinol used in medical devices.

  • PECM can achieve high precision with tolerances as small as 10-100 micrometers, making it suitable for producing complex parts with fine details and smooth surfaces.
  • PECM offers advantages such as high precision, good surface finish, ability to machine complex geometries, and suitability for hard-to-machine materials.
  • PECM is used for manufacturing components like surgical tools, engine parts, and intricate shapes in heat exchangers.
