Process Engineering & Manufacturing Excellence
• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing process flows and equipment concepts
• Support RFQs by determining process requirements, cycle times, tooling, and capital needs
• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new and revised products
• Champion Lean practices to eliminate waste and improve efficiency
Continuous Improvement Leadership
• Drive corrective/preventive actions and structured problem solving (8D)
• Investigate, document, and verify improvements with measurable results
• Lead lean audits, training, and capability-building initiatives
• Stop production when necessary to protect quality.
Technical Leadership & Knowledge Transfer
• Mentor engineers and cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert
• Create SOPs, work instructions, and engineering documentation
• Conduct internal training on process improvement, lean, and quality tools
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Operations, Materials & Sales on new programs
• Support engineering changes and capability builds for new business
• Provide continuous technical support for machining, mechanics, washing & packaging processes

Daily duties and responsibilities include

What You Bring
• Engineering degree (or equivalent experience and exceptional technical mastery)
• 10+ years of experience in machining and advanced manufacturing environments
• Expertise in Lean, continuous improvement, process flow, and cycle time optimization
• Strong experience with Control Plans, FMEA, PFMEA, SPC, APQP & process validation
• Proven experience preparing procedures, work instructions, and technical reports
• Capable trainer, mentor, and change-leader across shop-floor and engineering teams
• Excellent communication, computer skills, and structured problem-solving ability
